Prompt: A walk in the woods

Snow is not used to nature that isn't covered in a perpetual layer of permafrost, but she enjoys the fall colors because they remind her of a time before she was this...before she was an esk, before she left this world and her human body slowly began to be covered in layers of lichen.
Her visit to the wood might be brief...she does not like feeling powerless, but she definetely enjoyed the scenery.
