Edit: I added another entry, I love what everyone is doing with the characters. Oh and to add to the short attention span thing I bought another brightly colored shirt today. XD

My attention span is dying. Rapidly. Anyways I'm planning on doing a feature if anyone would like their artwork to be shown just show me the picture you want, I'll do one peice for each person that way I can fit alot of people in.

Oh yes, and I know everyone is crying about Micheal jackson but let's also keep in mind that ;_; Billy Mays died. Now my friends and I have no one to make jokes about.

Must be appropriate for the description's I give of the characters.

Prompt: Draw one or more of the characters in my novel Spades.
Characters:

Lysette Claudia Dawson: The Main character of the novel, she has red hair that's slowly going grey and grey eyes, she is pale and thin and generally dresses in hand me down clothes, she can be drawn with either short hair or long hair, but with the short hair it should be choppy because it wasn't voluntarily cut that way.

Ezekiel Saffir: The main male, he has chestnut brown hair and green eyes, The right side of his face is covered in burn marks because of an even in the concentration camps. He is tall for his age (about 13.) and has a slightly sad, faithless disposition.

Etsuko Kurosawa: She speaks in one word sentences and has a generally serious dispotion. She's Japanese, so she has black hair and brown eyes and is fairly short.

Mario Wilder: He looks kind of like a small blue eyed Wilhelm from Xenosaga, he has his hair slicked back and it's short except for the bangs and often wears suspenders and is found playing with toy swords.

Gin Wilder: He basically looks like a blond haired Gin Ichimaru (Though his name is pronounced like the drink.) His eyes are really bad, but they're blue and he seems half blind. He has a sunny disposition, but a dark side at the same time. He's considerably older than the other children. (they're all about 11-14, his brother Mario is 10.)He dresses primarily in ragged clothes because he lives on his own.

Daniel Meadows: He has kind of puff hair that's a dark shade of brown, if he were in modern times he'd look like an Emo kid, he's tall and wears a green blazer most of the time, he's scottish and has kind of a laid back personality. He says the word 'reckon' a lot, he's kind of like Uryuu from Bleach in the sense that he sews and is responsible for making Lysette a dress. He's kind of angelic in terms of facial expressions and he has a crush on Lysette.

Amara Bristow: The main villain, she has black hair and blue eyes her hair is in ringletts and she dresses like an upper class person would in the 1940's-50's. She's rather snobby and is actually the centeral villain of the novel.

Lewis Lawliet: He basically looks like a L if his hair was tamed down. He has dark eyes with bags under them, he's an artist so he's often seen wearing a smock with a lot of paint on it. The children in the orphanage say that he eats children.

Mary Townsend: Has light blonde curly hair,with blue eyes, she dresses fairly high class, but like Amara she has a snobby dispotion and is just flat out mean to Lysette and her friends. She wears a blue snowflake hairpin.

Elizabeth Freighter: The other half, she has long cornsilk colored hair that's clipped really straight and a long ribbon in her hair. She's essientially Mary's other half and is just as snobby and rude as the other girls.


It can be any of these characters, take my descriptions to mean what they will because the characters designs have not really been finalized. But they're all characters in my novel, and they aren't even the entire cast, just the central ones.

And I got my first entry! has submitted a lovely picture of Elizabeth. I look forward to seeing everyone elses entries too. ^_^
